It has taken us some time to develop a plan and to keep camp as safe as possible this summer. We thank you for your patience and support as the summer plans evolve. We have provided a bulleted list below of changes we will be putting into place for this summer. Please see the updated calendar of events.
Each and every year we close the Oasis camp season and are moved by the feeling of gratefulness we feel for our campers, staff and families. This year it feels even truer than ever. It seems the past nine weeks flew by in a blur. Such wonderful days filled with smiles, cannonballs, dancing, trips, laser tag; knock out, learning and more. The quiet moments come to mind too…seeing new friendships blossom, hearing comforting words spoken between a counselor and camper, noting a shared kindness between campers with a sweet smile of thanks.
Oasis Summer Day Camp is excited to announce that we have partnered with a former camp family to provide another exceptional option to our friends and family. Ten Mile Transit Service, a family owned and operated transportation company, offers a safe, affordable and dependable service for families interested in convenient door-to-door service to and from camp. During the school year Oasis Day Camp owners Brooke and James Schamber are public school employees. Brooke is a nationally certified school psychologist and James a Golden Apple Fellow and second grade teacher. They are passionate about providing children of all backgrounds enriching opportunities that teach campers about themselves, their world, and their friends. Oasis Summer Day Camp, LLC Receives 2017 Best of Highland Park Award
Highland Park Award Program Honors the Achievement
HIGHLAND PARK July 14, 2017 -- Oasis Summer Day Camp, LLC has been selected for the 2017 Best of Highland Park Award in the Summer Day Camp category by the Highland Park Award Program.
1. Our 2018 open house is Sunday, June 10 at our Highland Park Campus. It is from 10:00-12:00 and we hope to see you.
2. Oasis Summer Day Camp is a nut-free facility. Please plan lunch and snacks accordingly. Catered lunch can be purchased online as well as snack. Snack consists of a Gatorade or water, a fruit and a chip or cracker.
3. Drop-off hours are from 8:00 to 9:00 and pick-up hours are from 3:30-5:30.
